Ontario Blue Spruce Nominee

Honoured to have "Kenta and the Big Wave"(Annick Press) listed as a nominee for Ontario's Forest of Reading Blue Spruce Award. "The Forest of Reading is Canada’s largest recreational reading program – more than 250,000 readers participate every year individually, or at their school or public library. This initiative offers eight reading programs  for all ages, and each program consists of popular Canadian fiction and non-fiction titles. It is a Canada-wide program that was launched by the Ontario Library Association, but it is intended for readers across the country and those in Canadian international schools. The Forest occupies a major place of prominence in Canada’s literary landscape and encourages a love of reading in people of all ages." --Ontario Library Association
